Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and The Evil Within

Two big releases get talked about this week. Chad and Emilio tackle the third Borderlands game while Bobby handles The Evil Within. Emilio finishes Mass Effect 3 and gives his opinion on the ending (spoilers), Chad checks out Peggle 2 and Bobby plays through Double Fine’s casual RPG: Costume Quest 2. Also a brief discussion on ethics in video games and more listener questions.

Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation is released and receives polarizing reviews from critics. Bobby plays through the entire game and offers his opinion. Also the Indonesian survival horror game: DreadOut. Is the game as bad as it’s name? Emilio continues to play Mass Effect 3 and gets back into DayZ. Chad starts Oddworld and all three of us play the local co op dungeon crawler: Crawl.

Dead Rising 3 and Destiny

In this episode, we take an early look at Bungie’s new first person shooter: Destiny, give our thoughts on Capcom’s Dead Rising 3 and gossip about Mass Effect 3 drama. Nvidia’s upcoming Game24 even is almost here and a Payday 2/Hotline Miami cross-over has our interest piqued. Bobby starts his yearly Halloween horror game marathon with Among the Sleep and Five Nights at Freddy’s, Chad enjoys Tropico 4 and Emilio plays The Walking Dead with his lady friend.

Breaking Walls

With Chad away at PAX, it’s up to Bobby and Emilio to hold down the fort. The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Stick It to the Man get checked off Bobby’s list. Emilio finally starts Mass Effect 3 and continues to enjoy Firefall and The Binding of Isaac. Five Nights at Freddy’s is looking good, but we’re not sure about Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, yet. Amazon buys Twitch, World of Darkness crumbles and Emilio leaves to get a beer.
